October’s production of Once on This Island, co-directed by Rachel Howell and Chris Okiishi, is a beat-happy, tropical retelling of “The Little Mermaid” that features fast-paced choreography and innovative story-telling. Toes will tap and hearts will skip a beat as this exciting story unfolds. This lively and moving musical by the creators of "Seussical" and "Ragtime" tells the story of a poor young island girl and her quest to become part of the rich society from the other side of the Island. Her journey, where she encounters helpful and mischievous gods, fierce storms, true love and even death itself will spark the imagination and capture your heart.
